One of my best friends married her middle school sweetheart a few weeks ago in Atlanta. Natalie was one of the happiest and most beautiful brides I have seen, telling us over and over that it was the best wedding she had ever attended. Every bride should feel that way!

A Coronado Wedding

I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph a beautiful military wedding in Coronado, the city where David and I lived before moving north to Monterey, Ca. The weekend started off with some engagement photos of the couple on their last day of being engaged...

We then headed over to a fiesta-themed rehearsal dinner planned by the amazing Krista at A Joy Forever Events...

The wedding day...

Favorite: The bride kept sarcastically referring to her maid of honor as "maid" throughout the day, so they took this fitting "maid" photo...

The only photo the couple requested was one in the bed of his truck! Priceless...

Baby Calista

This was my first official OpLove shoot, held at beautiful (and windy) Lover's Point in Pacific Grove. Calista's daddy is in the army and has been deployed for almost a year. This shoot was done on Calista's parents' two year anniversary- gotta love these military wives and the way they serve!

Liz came along with Mei for a bridal photo shoot in beautiful Coronado. Liz = Stunning.

Who else can I do multiple bridal sessions with... since they have three wedding dresses? I love Mei for it. I wish she had four dresses so we could keep these coming.

This was my first shoot in Monterey, Ca! This gorgeous military family had me over to photograph 6-month-old Emmanuel and his entourage.

Callie + Jonathan

I photographed Callie + Jonathan for their four year anniversary- I loved what she said in an email to me regarding the photos:
"I feel so weathered (in a good way) in our relationship now that we have survived four years of marriage, a child, and a chronic illness. When we were on vacation and saw the honeymooners I was thinking "aww, you are so young" even though most were older than me. I'm glad to still be in love with my husband after all of that."
For so many couples, photos end with their wedding day. I'd love to do more "couples photos" like these- it's just so fun to see real love like this.
